Terms of use

Using the tools

Instrumentize is free to use, with no account and no registration. You may use the results in your own work, personal or commercial, without asking.

No warranty

The tools are provided as they are. They are built carefully and their calculation rules are documented on each page, but no guarantee is given that a result is correct, current or fit for your particular purpose.

Nothing here is professional advice. A calculation that has financial, legal, medical or safety consequences should be confirmed with someone qualified, and against the official rules that apply to your situation.

Availability and changes

Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn, and the site may be unavailable at times. When a calculation rule changes in a way that alters results, the change is noted on the tool's page.

Acceptable use

Automated use that degrades the service for others — scraping at volume, hammering an endpoint — may be blocked.
